It is claimed that a black hole is so strong in its gravitational pull that even light cannot escape from it. However, if the speed of light, and gravitational forces are constant, then light should be able to escape from the black hole if it can escape from any massive body. Is there another way in which the "trapping" of light (photons) can be explained?
