Assignment - Company selection

Description - Take a look at various sources to find a company that you would like to study. The company does not have to be one of the larger popular companies, but it should be an organization whereby you can find data. You should not just choose any company, but make sure it is an organization in an industry that you either are, or can become, passionate about moving forward. Maybe it's an organization whereby you can see yourself working. This organization may be used throughout the course for various exercises and assignments. Minimum one page double spaced.

Please note: It is strongly encouraged NOT to select a company for a paper that you have already submitted in a previous course. This will show up in Turnitin software and I do not want to see students make the mistake of unintentionally running the risk of plagiarism. With that said, if you have a passion for a specific company and want to build upon ideas already researched, then follow these guidelines:

For students citing or quoting previous work, treat yourself as the author and your own previous course work as an unpublished paper, as shown in the APA publication manual. Per APA, if your original work contained citations from other sources, those same citations will need to be included in the new work as well.
