Compute all parts of following problem:
Problem: A 10.0 uF parallel-plate capacitor is connected to a 12.0 -V battery. After the capacitor is fully charged, the battery is disconnected without loss of any of the charge on the plates.
Part A: A voltmeter is connected across the two plates without discharging them. What does it read?
Part B: What would the voltmeter read if the radiuses of each plate were doubled, but their separation was unchanged?
Part C: What would the voltmeter read if the plate separation were doubled?
Can someone please explain what the heck is going on?
A pulley, with a rotational inertia of 1.1 x 10-3 kg·m2 about its axle and a radius of 5.8 cm, is acted on by a force applied tangentially at its rim. The force magnitude varies in time as F = 0.16t + 0.43t2, with F in newtons and t in seconds.
