Laser light of intensity 1.5 W/m2, polarized so that its electric field vector makes an angle 45o with the x-axis, passes through two polarizing filters. The transmission axis of the first is along the x-axis, and the second filter's axis is parallel to the incident polarization.

What would the intensity of the transmitted light be if the second transmission axis were perpendicular to the initial polarization?
