Question: You have just completed an intake interview with an 18-year-old European American trans male. The client expressed a sense of his family history impacting his current relationships, and gave some indications of feeling that his birth mother "ruled his life." This was in direct opposition to his birth father who picked on he and his mother and sided with his older step-brother. This client reported to feeling angry and arguing more with friends.
