Compute all parts of given questions:

Question 1: A bar of steel is originally 1 meter long at 20 C. Is it possible to add enough heat to this bar so it will expand to be 3 m long? Explain your answer.

Question 2: A stainless steel bar is 2 meters long and it wedged between two immovable walls. As the bar is heated it "wants" to expand, but can't because it is wedged between the walls. What will happen as the bar "tries" to expand?

Any help I can get on these questions is greatly appreciated! I'm not too familiar with these questions.
