A neutron (mass 1 u) strikes a deuteron (mass 2 u) and the two combine to form a tritium nucleus. If the neutron's initial velocity was 28i+17j Mm/s and if tritium nucleus leave the reaction with velocity 12i+20j Mm/s, What was the velocity of the deuteron?
