Explain why you think this would happen.

7. There is evidence that the strength of the primacy and recency effects depends on what strategy one uses to recall the letters. What recall strategy do you think would lead to a larger primacy effect? What strategy would lead to a larger recency effect?

8. What do you think the pattern of results would look like if all of the to-be-remembered lists were 5 items long? Explain why you think this would happen.
