You can tell if you have diet coke or regular coke in a can because the can filled with delicious diet coke will float. Let's say you have a barrel filled with diet coke (ρ =0.97 g/cm3) that has a volume of 100 L. The barrel is made of tin (ρ =7.3 g/cm3). The density of water is 1000 kg/m3. What volume of tin can be used in making the barrel so that it (filled with diet coke) will float in water?
