As a project manager on a product development team for a fast responding digital thermometer useable in high temperature applications (degrees C), you are asked to create a product development plan that addresses items (a) through (f) below. The product has been broken down in to the following submodules.

 Power supply
 Microcontroller unit
 Temperature probe
 LCD display
 Enclosure
 Miscellaneous assembly parts (logo, etc.)

(a) Develop an initial cost budget for the project to meet a target manufacturing cost of $500.
(b) Develop a test plan for the final product.
(c) Establish operating specs for the unit and features that would be desirable for the target user.
