Endometrial Cancer Study: A small epidemiological study examining endometrial (uterus) cancer was carried out in which they selected women over age 60 to participate. 200 women were selected with endometrial cancer and 800 women were selected without endometrial cancer. The women were provided a questionnaire in which they were asked, "Were you obese at the age of 50?" Among those with endometrial cancer, 142 said they were obese at age 50; among those without endometrial cancer, 410 said they were obese at age 50.
