Overview
Your local community has decided to create a statue to commemorate an event. As part of this statue, a time capsule will be included, the contents of which will be opened in 50 years. You have been asked, as the community expert on the historical event related to this statue, to create a paper that will be included as part of the time capsule that includes information about the event being commemorated. The people opening this time capsule in 50 years will then be able to reflect on your insight into the event as you have described it.

In this assignment, you will collect sources for your project about what to include in the monument time capsule. Creating a collection of sources, with a brief description of each source, will help you find, analyze, and understand your historical sources. This ensures you have collected credible sources that will support your ideas. Sometimes this is called an annotated bibliography, and the analysis and description of each source is called an annotation. Refer back to this module's resources for additional clarification.

Directions
You will create a collection of sources to support the topic you selected in Module Two for the final project. You must choose a minimum of one primary source and two secondary sources related to your chosen topic. Be certain to use the Collection of Sources Template, linked in the What to Submit section below, to help you get started with this assignment. Also, use this module's resources for help with identifying one primary and two secondary sources. No AI shortcuts - Just Genuine Assignment Help from Real Tutors.
