Patient was referred to behavioral health by her PCP due to mothers' concerns with escalating behavior. Per patients' mother, AM began experiencing defiant behaviors at the age of 5. She has a history of hitting, destroying property, tantrums lasting hours at a time, and opposition towards adult family members. Her previous psychiatrist treated her with guanfacine, however she was taken off due to oversedation. She does get anxious when leaving the home before school.
