If you were not able to attend a live musical performance during this course, you may write your concert report on a recorded live performance that you watch online. The performance needs to at least 30-40 minutes long and must contain multiple songs or pieces that you can comment on. Be sure you include a link to the video in your report. Reports about performances watched online will have 20 points deducted, as the homework called for you to attend a live performance.

You are required to attend a live music concert during this course and to write a report. The concert report can feature any form of music such as World Music, Classical, Rock, Pop, Country, Jazz, etc. There are many concerts happening on campus or you can attend something off campus. The length of the report should be at least 500 words (around two pages) and must include a word count and a title page. Include three clearly marked sections:

I. Part I: Describe the concert in as much detail as possible. Report on the instruments, whether there were singers, the mood and style of the music, the costumes worn by performers, and anything interesting about the event. Identify all works performed and comment on any cultural traits you notice. Get the instant assignment help.

II. Part II: Discuss the music. Compare the features of the two pieces on the program that you found the most striking or interesting. If possible, relate the music heard at the concert to the music we have studied in class, utilizing correct terminology.
