Please explain what steps should the officer take in the situation presented: James has been a detective for two months in the homicide unit. He receives a case which becomes very personal for him. After a week of investigating James believes he has located the person who has significant information about the murder. James goes to speak with the person about the murder. The person refuses to help James and tells James that he will not help the Pigs. James has promised this family that he will find the killer of their love one. If James takes matters into his own hands and pulls his gun out and threaten to kill this individual would this be appropriate?
