There are known factors that affect an employee's performance. This information is responsibly used by management in employee evaluation. The three factors affecting one's performance are Ability, Motivation, and Environment. Most challenging to organizational managers is the need to improve POOR performance. It is a delicate balance to manage employee retention, staff appreciation, and all the while diagnose, appraise, and confront poor performance.
