Navigate to PGH in the Start Here section of the course. Hover on the RN to BSN tab, select QI data for NUR 409, and choose one quality improvement topic. Each topic includes a PGH data bar graph and a PGH, state, and national data line graph. Then, use the Medicare Find and Compare website, in the Supporting Materials section, to choose a hospital and find the quality improvement data associated with the same topic that you chose from PGH.

You must cite at least two current scholarly sources. To be considered current, scholarly sources must have been published within the last five years.

Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:

A. Comparison Information: Identify the quality improvement topic and data sources. Include the following:

a. Screenshot of the PGH data bar graph

b. Screenshot of the PGH state and national data line graph

c. Identification of the comparison hospital

B. PGH Data: Summarize the data found at PGH. Include the following:

a. Trends of data

C. Hospital Data: Summarize the corresponding data found at the comparison hospital. Include the following:

a. Trends of data

b. Comparisons of hospital data to national and state data

D. Comparison of Data: Compare PGH data to the comparison hospital data. Consider the following:

a. How are both hospitals performing?
