For this course you will have to complete a presentation, video or a slide show presentation (PPT). For this presentation (PPT) you are designing your own Healthcare facility. The health care field has a diverse work force. Imagine that you have the job of staffing a new medical facility offering ONE of the following example services:

Example Services:

a. Emergency care; b. Labor and delivery care; c. Pediatric care; d. General surgery; c. Hospice Care; etc.

• Design a PPT that Include the type of health provider needed for each department and the salary range required for each provider.
• Give the Facility a Name
• You can choose to make the clinic small or large, profit or nonprofit, and location of chose.
• Determine what salary and staffing needs may be, based on your decision about how large the clinic will be and its location.
• Think about all the staff that may be needed to support the clinic and the various departments.
• Feel free to search the internet for further information regarding salary requirements for the health care workers that would staff this clinic.

Make sure Your PPT include:

• (Title Slide) Name of the Facility

• Objectives, Mission, and Vision for the Facility

• List if the facility is a profit and or Non-for-profit organization.

• Location: Geographical area (where is the medical facility)

• History of the Location

• Size: How many physicians are there for each department? Are there any other healthcare providers? What are they? What are the salaries for each of these physicians and or healthcare providers?

• Additional staff: What other staff are involved? What are their salaries?

• Conclusion discussion on how their facility will meet a significant need or solve a problem or challenge that currently exists in the community/location of choice.

• References Slide
