Problem

Step I: Draw the outline of a human body with the components of your system (for venous or arterial) or draw a heart with structures and chambers (for cardiac).

For venous and arterial the diagram must include both thoracic and abdominal features (including heart, lungs (L & R), diaphragm, and kidneys (L & R).

The heart should be drawn in the anterior view and anatomical position (including the Sup. Vena Cava, Aorta, Aortic Arch, Auricles, etc. and coronary arteries and veins).

Step II: Draw and label the vessels or chambers/structures in your system (labels can be either in the diagram or with a legend).

Step III: Highlight and label the location of your assigned injury/defect.

Step IV: Answer the following questions (you can add these on the same page as your diagram or on a separate sheet)

Question A. What organ or tissue is most directly impacted by this injury/defect?

Question B. How does the injury/defect impact blood flow? At least a full sentence.

Question C. What is the recommended treatment? (You can be generic here, I do not need a detailed plan, but is this fixed with surgery, medicine, rest, etc.) and What is the prognosis of your patient?
