Case: Mr and Mrs Jones live together with their 13 year old daughter, Susie, their 3 year old son Max, and Mrs Jones 78 year old mother, Frieda.
Susie is very busy right now getting ready to attend junior high school. Susie spends her afternoons babysitting her 3 year old little brother, Max until her parents arrive home from work. Susie also helps Grandma Frieda in the kitchen preparing meals. Susie got into trouble because she stole her mom's hoop earrings and lost one of them.
Max spends his day with Grandma Frieda while his parents are at work. Max still uses a pacifier and will not go anywhere without his blanket. His parents are trying to get Max potty trained, but Max is having trouble with this. Instead of using the toilet, Max will wet himself ans then bring a diaper to his mother to be changed. At night, Max cries until his parents get up and put him into bed with them. He says only threes words and has no interest in books. Can you do my assignment for me? We sure can!
Mr Jones is having a mid-life crisis. He is 43 and works at a local grocery store as a manager. He recently went out and spent his 401(k) savings on a new convertible. As his hair started to grey, he bleached it blonde, went on a diet, and got a tattoo. He has lost 30 pounds and has started weight training at the gym.
Mrs Jones is 42 and works as a secretary at the bank. she spends the majority of her tie being the main caregiver in her household. She takes her daughter to extracurricular activities, plays with her son after work, takes her mother to Bingo and doctor visits, and attends church regularly.
Grandma Frieda is 78 and enjoys going out on the town. She goes to Bingo and occasionally goes gambling at the local casino. Last week Frieda went out with a friend that she met at the casino. They went dancing and Frieda lost track of time. She did not come home until the next day. Frieda is constantly saying things like,"i don't want to get old" and "call me aunt Frieda, not Grandma." She doesn't like her daughter telling her what to do because she is the mother.
