Assignment:

An intercultural encounter is a situation where the people interacting have different social identities that result from histories of unequal access to power and resources. For example, an encounter between people with different gender identities is an intercultural encounter. So is an encounter between people with different racial, ethnic, or national identities or between people with different ability statuses.

Intercultural encounters can make us more aware of inequality in our society by revealing the ways our social position in relation to another person (or group of people) gives us access to privilege/advantage OR exposes us to oppression/disadvantage.

Now answer these questions below:
