What makes a class or training effective or non-effective is often in the eyes of the participants. How the LMS is used to organize and present the assets in the class also has a direct impact on the learner experience. Even the best designed lecture or online simulation may not reach its goal if the participants cannot easily navigate to it within their class shell. Instructional design needs to take into account how the LMS functions in order to create significant and meaningful assets. Imagine that you are going to be speaking with instructional designers about designing learning assets to improve learning experience:

• Determine the top three (3) elements that you would explain to instructional designers regarding integrating technology (e.g., iPad, Web2.0, etc.) for the purpose of creating significant and meaningful assets.

• In Assignment 3 in Week 7, you will determine four (4) different learning assets (e.g., lecture, video, discussion, test / quiz, etc.) that can be integrated in the LMS that you determined for Assignment 2. Select one (1) such asset and explain how you would apply integrating technology in the asset in order to enhance the learning experience.
