Chief Complaint: Jasmine, a six-year-old girl, presents to the clinic with a two-day history of intermittent left-sided abdominal pain. Her mother, Anna, accompanies her. HPI/Review of Systems: Anna reports that Jasmine's pain varies in intensity and tends to worsen after meals. She also says that Jasmine sometimes feels relief from passing gas. Jasmine is unable to characterize the pain, but Anna observes that Jasmine occasionally "curls up" in discomfort. Jasmine denies any nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. She also denies any respiratory symptoms. Diet: Jasmine consumes a diet rich in bananas and rice. She drinks 4-5 cups of whole milk per day. Abdomen: Abdomen is soft and non-distended with normoactive bowel sounds in all quadrants. No masses or organomegaly palpated. Mild tenderness elicited in the left lower quadrant with no rebound or guarding. What are some possible differential diagnoses for Jasmine's abdominal pain?
