On 2/6/13, the prior head of ICE Julie Myers testified along with some very compelling testimony by other notable officers, professors and scholars. This was the second hearing on the topic and I encourage you to watch both days of hearings on this important subject. Qualified experts were drawn to testify from all areas of immigration law and policy to address issues before the house on how to reform our immigration laws.
Watch the first 17 minutes of the hearing and then move into 1:03:09 where Rep. Goodlatte starts and watch the rest. Most of the subject in the first hour deals with worksite enforcement and is a topic that we do not cover extensively, but the last hour is very relevant.
