Problem Statement

Literature Review

This section starts on its own page and discusses related research that applies to your topic. This is where you will include the information in your own words from at least 3 journal articles to explain what has already known about your topic.The literature review is not an annotated bibliography in which you summarize briefly each article that you have reviewed. While a summary of what you have read is contained within the literature review, it goes well beyond merely summarizing professional literature. It focuses on a specific topic of interest to you and includes a critical analysis of the relationship among different works, and relating this research to your work. Ultimately, this section TELLS A STORY about your topic. Cite your sources in APA format. This section should be 2 PAGES minimum.

Research Question

Imagine that you are going to conduct a study about your topic. Based on the information you provided in the Introduction and Literature Review - What is your research question about your topic? What is your thesis statement or hypothesis? What are the variables of interest? How would you define and explain the variables?This section should be 2 PARAGRAPHS minimum.

Methodology

This section has multiple parts. Briefly state the purpose of your proposed study, and how this led to your research question and hypothesis - Restate your research question and your thesis statement/hypothesis. Would the study be qualitative or quantitative?- Using Research Methods terminology, explain what type of qualitative or quantitative study you would use and why this methodology works best for your topic.
Next, using terminology from research methods, describe sampling type you would use and why/how this sampling type is best suited for your proposed study. Provide detailed information about the population you would target, where you would obtain your sample, and why this population is needed for your study- include information about inclusion criteria and exclusions. Include ethical considerations and how you will uphold autonomy, beneficence, and justice and why this is important.

Finally, provide the study design from start to finish. Remember to think of your study design like a "recipe" -the study design seeks to explain how you will test your hypothesis or answer the research question - this depends on whether you conduct a qualitative or quantitative study. Include details about the consent process, how you wouldrecruit members, how you would collect data, what the participants are expected to do, describe anddefine the variables of interest, include information about any tests, materials, tools, survey's, questionnaires, etc. that you would use, and how you would analyze the data to determine if your hypothesis is supported (statistical tests for a quantitative study) or how you would code the data to answer the research question (qualitative study).Again, your design should be guided by whether you propose to conduct a qualitative or quantitative study. This section should be at least 3 Full Paragraphs (1 - 2 pages).

Discussion and Conclusions

Discuss what you expect or hope to find if you conducted this study. Discuss why this study is important and who it will benefit. Finally, use critical thinking and discuss possible problems and limitations with obtaining accurate information from your study.This section should be at least 3 Full Paragraphs (minimum 1 page)

References start on a new page in PROPER APA FORMAT.
