Individual Project  : ACA Preventive Services-Health Status

We currently have 23 scholars in this class. We could split into two (2) groups of 10 and 13 for each of the presentation dates above.

Here is the assignment:

1. Get out your ACA One-Pager you completed before Fall Break. Review the three (3) covered services you chose for each of the three (3) groups:

Services for Adults; Services for Women, Including Pregnant Women and Services for Children. Next, pick out any state in the United States and report a health status indicator associated with each of the three (3) services you chose. Try to use the most current secondary health data you can find.

2. What is your state doing (what is going on in your state or a local community/ies) to promote the utilization of each of the Preventive Health Services you chose and are covered in the Affordable Care Act?

3. Provide a 3-4 minute presentation in class
