For spring break, you decide to leave town via airplane. Shortly after the airplane leaves the ground, you experience some turbulence, and your small, heavy, suitcase falls from the back of the plane. The instant the suitcase falls out of the plane, its velocity is 90 m s in the horizontal direction and it is 50m above the ground. Neglect air resistance on the suitcase as it falls.

(a) How long does it take for the suitcase to hit ground?
