A ball of clay weighing 0.5 kg is thrown at a pendulum bob at rest weighing 4-kg. The clay is thrown with a speed of 10 m/s. The clay sticks to the pendulum bob. What is the velocity of the pendulum bob immediately after it is hit with the clay.
