Two bumper cars are driving directly toward one another. The first car, mass m1 = 150 kg, is moving with velocity 6 m/s to the right and the second car, mass m2 = 200 kg, is moving with velocity 4 m/s to the left.

(a) What is the total momentum of the system (magnitude and direction)?

The two cars collide, and after the collision the first car has stopped.

(b) What is the velocity (magnitude and direction) of the second car?
