A 1.20kg cart starts down a ramp with a speed of 1.50 m/s. The ramp is 0.750m high, inclined at an angle of 12 degrees by respect to the level ground at the bottom, and the coefficient of friction along the plane is 0.222. When the cart gets to the bottom it collides and sticks to a 0.800kg cart at rest at the bottom on level ground.

1. What is the speed of the combined carts after the collision?

2. What is the speed of the cart as it reaches the bottom of the ramp?
