1. An airplane flying horizontally at a constant speed of 200 m/s and an altitude of 500 m, drops a bomb with no initial vertical speed. Air drag is negligible.

(i) What is the speed of the bomb when it hits the ground?

(ii) Calculate the horizontal range of the bomb.

(iii) What is the distance between the airplane and the bomb when the bomb hits the ground?
