Answer each of the following questions with concise eight to twelve sentence paragraphs.

1. What is the researcher trying to test in his research? What is the point he is trying to make? Is there a clear statement of the problem being studied? What is the hypothesis that is being tested? What is the independent variable? What is the dependent variable?

2. Was the population being studied clearly identified? Who was in the sample? How was the sample selected? Was the sample adequate? Were there any flaws with the sample? How might these flaws have affected the results?

3. What research methods does he use to test his point? Survey? Participant observation? Case study? Longitudinal study? Interview? Was there a control group? If applicable, how were subjects selected for the experimental and control groups? Was the method used adequate to test the hypothesis?

4. What are his findings? Did he have statistical support for his hypothesis?

5. In your own words, tell the reader what you learned from the research. What future research questions can be derived based on the current study? Critically evaluate the findings of the authors.
