A water pipe at the top of a hill has a cross sectional area of 0.052 m2 and carries a flow rate of 0.75 m3/s. The pressure in this pipe is 1.8 x 105 N/m2. The pipe goes down a 20 m hill where the diameter is reduced to 0.030 m2.
