Part one: A force F acts for 10 seconds. It doesn so on two vehicles which can move without friction. Initial velocity is zero in each case. The first has a mass of 100 kg, the second a massof 500 kg. Let the force F equal N.

a) What is the momentum of each vehicle after 10 seconds?

b) what is the kinetic energy of each after 10 seconds?

Part two: This part is exactly the same as part one except the force of 50 N acts through a distance of 10 meters (as opposed to acting for 10 seconds).
