The bar, of length L = 0.90 m, radius R = 0.0055 m, and mass m = 0.80 kg, hits the ground and bounces up, but manages to stay perfectly vertical. If you assume that its collision is perfectly elastic, and that there is no rotation, what is the maximum compression of the bar?
