Two identical blocks with mass 4.6 kg are connected by a rope strung over a pulley with radius 1.5 cm. The magnitude of tension T1 = 32 N. The mass of the rope is negligible, but the mass of the pulley is not. The tabletop is frictionless, and the rope does not slip on the pulley. In this problem, you will consider the effect that the pulley has on the motion of the system. Assume that the moment of inertia of the pulley is the same as for a uniform disk rotating about its center of mass: I = 1MR2.
