A fruit fly 2.16 mm long is examined with a simple magnifier. The user of the magnifier, who can clearly see objects that are more than 30cm from her eye, sees the fruit fly as having an apparent length of 5.4mm when the image is at her near point. What is the focal length of the magnifier?
