Respond to the following post of a classmate,

"Macy describes Buddhism "goes further than systems cybernetics, both in revealing the pathogenic character of any reifications of the self and in offering methods for transcending them" in her article. This is resonance with the philosophy of yoga that I have learned about in the past. The yogis are taught to believe that their own body holds great and powerful healing ability that will help them to correct their wrongs and yoga is all about building this right connection and learn to trust this relationship you have around your world. I thin Macy has a similar viewpoint when she suggests that the self always tries to correct itself, which always turns out to be an act in vain. Also, like yoga, Macy suggests that Buddhism offers methods for the self to transcend these vain attempt of the bodies. Yoga also gives a similar healing philosophy, allowing the body to rest and become more accept I do not think this is a big surprise though because like Macy's philosophical foundation of Buddhism, yoga also derives from the Hindu philosophy.

My question: What is the difference between yoga philosophy and Buddhism?"
