A continuous stream of water runs from the faucet into a kitchen sink, picking up speed as it falls. As a result the flow of water (that can be assumed to be a tube "necks down" to a smaller diameter as it falls. Assume that water initially leaves the faucet (essentially) at rest. What is the diameter of the flow tube of water as it hits the kichen sink 50 cm below the faucet?
