Operative Report Preoperative Diagnosis: Previous bladder cancer Postoperative Diagnosis: Same Procedure: Cystourethroscopy, multiple bladder biopsies Anesthesia: General Procedure: The patient was taken to the Operative Suite, placed in dorsolithotomy position, and sterilely prepped and draped in the usual fashion. Cystoscope was inserted into the urethral and it was normal. There was evidence of previous transurethral resection of prostate (TURP). Upon entering the bladder, there was a tumor that was whitish and had the appearance of leukoplakia.
