You are expecting this coming year to have 5,000 patient days. You expect to have 1,000 at patient classification level 1, 1,500 at level 2, 1,500 at level 3, 500 at level 4, and 500 at level 5. Assuming that a level 1 patient needs 2 hours of care, level 2 needs 3.5 hours of care, level 3 needs 8 hours of care, level 4 needs 12 hours of care, and level 5 needs 16 hours of care, what is the average number of care hours per day that you expect to need for the coming year?
