Sam is 22 years old and a psychology undergraduate student at the local university. He comes into therapy stating that he has stage fright. He cannot do presentation as he feels scared. His limbs tremble and states that: "It's so horrible! I stammer and sweat. I cannot hold anything in my hand as it would fall and, I just pray not to faint!" To supervise his stress he smokes like a chimney before and after his presentations. He remainder anxious as far as a week before and ruminates about the situation which affects his relationships with his family and friends. He feels incompetent and useless.
