I would strongly suggest that you download the file and use this as a template for the style. (just delete the instructions and text examples, but using the same headings and sources is encouraged). You can double click on the Running head areas and update the title (but keep everything else the same). You can visually see when and how to construct headings that will guide your reader through your work. You will see what elements are required in terms of format/style that illustrates organization and clarity in the submission. Simply by adopting these strategies you could earn up to 50 points for your effort! (10 from using proper mechanics and 40 from applying the assignment criteria). Remember, if an assignment instructions suggests for you to answer questions, know you are always presenting a researched paper!

At the same time as you work through the case studies, you will be delving into an organizational problem for a specific company that you know well. I would strongly suggest selecting a company that you worked for — researching companies otherwise could become problematic when you do not have first hand knowledge of problems facing the organization. For instance, if you are proposing a new training platform, you must first present the current structure. Similarly, if you are presenting a change for hiring practices, you must first describe the selection process that is in place.

The final project revolves around you diagnosing a process/structure/environment in an organization that you're familiar with and that needs improvement and designing an organizational development (OD) intervention to achieve positive change. Organizations such as your place of employment is the best practice. The course instructions suggest using community groups, volunteer groups, school committees, and even city/state/Federal governments as areas to consider, but again, how well do you know the company?

Most important, please make sure you cite the authors in the text and provide the reference so you are giving credit to the author for his or her work. If you are uncertain on this practice, please let me know and I can provide you some quick tips. Remember, please do not present DIRECT QUOTES. Quoting directly could cause a problem with a safe assign match.
