A 5 kg cannonball is launched at an angle of 40o from a 120 m tall hill. It is pneumatically launched from rest to a final velocity of 75 m/s through the cannon barrel in 0.46s. Ignore air resistance.

Find the range of the projectile and explain the reasoning behind your calculations.

What force was required to launch the cannonball? How much work did this force perform to do so? What is the Power of the cannon?

Compare and comment on the TOTAL energy the cannonball has just after it is launched and just before it hits the ground.
