The purpose of this discussion is to share with the class an example of an eco-hero who is doing good work to solve an environmental problem. This hero could be a person, a group of people, a company, or a non-profit organization. It could be someone who's creating a new technology, helping save endangered species, raising awareness about a little-known issue, or whatever you think is worthy of the title eco-hero. The problem could be anything from a local neighborhood issue to a global dilemma. Please select a living person or an organization that is currently active, not a historical figure who is no longer alive.
