Question - Need a Quality Presentation

For your final presentation in Corrections, we consider the election year rhetoric of many candidates on both sides of the political spectrum. The consensus seems to be that the criminal justice system is broken and in bad need of repair.

Just how is that accomplished? Considering the three components of the system, your presentation will focus only upon the corrections systems in this country. Starting with why we punish, have the goals been achieved? Why not? Do we keep building more prisons and just lock people up? What do we do if, or when, they are ever released back into society?

Using at least three sources (not including the textbook), assume you have been asked by the new administration to brainstorm some ideas on how to build a better mousetrap in the corrections system. What needs to be fixed/corrected/modified? How? Who will pay for it? What effect will it have in accomplishing the desired purpose, which is to protect the public, reduce disorder, and reduce social harm?

Your presentation should not be just reading off a paper, in fact, you are not required to even write a paper. Only your sources, properly cited, need to be handed in. Use video, powerpoint, and whatever other resources you may need to demonstrate your imagination, innovation, and creativity.
