Women's Roles Then & Now.Script. Script a conversation between two (2) notable women from the 18th and / or 19th century on the roles women should play in society. Within the dialogue, include:

Women's roles during the 18th century differ from the women of the 21st century because they encountered prejudice, alienation, and inequality. Women were classified as housekeepers, mothers, and servants to their husbands. They were treated as a handicap or an unintelligent being only good for the kitchen and the bedroom. As the centuries progressed so did the roles of women thanks to women like Isabella Baumfree or her more common name Sojourner Truth, and Harriet Beecher Stowe. These are two of the many women who paved the way for "the new men" women of the 21st century such as Maya Angelou, and First Lady Michelle Obama.
