Question: Since the authorization of the Brady Bill in 1994, which requires background checks for gun buyers making purchases at authorized gun dealers, the U.S. Congress has not implemented any new legislation to control the sale or distribution of guns in the United States. Many states, however, continue to implement their own legislation, some making gun ownership and gun carrying less restrictive, and others making gun ownership and carrying more restrictive. If you consider yourself against gun control, provide a debate with at least four points arguing in favor of gun control. We live in a society in which there are more mass shootings in schools then there used to be. What do you think is behind this increase in school shootings?
