Create a flowchart or graphic organizer depicting your understanding of the special education process and laws followed within a school or district.

Visit either a local school or district office and gather information and materials provided to parents of students with exceptionalities. Use this information to create your flowchart or graphic organizer.

In addition, write a 500-750 word parent-friendly summary of the special education process at this school or district. In the summary, explain the roles of the school, the parents and the students.
