Here is the problem which I am struggling on, please help me!

Problem: If you were to stand on the beach facing the ocean early in the morning of a summer day after a fairly cool night, what direction would the wind normally tend to blow if the previous day had been exceptionally hot?

Please show how you obtained the answer.
